Designing better experiences for all humans. It’s what drives me. Using the power of research, storytelling, design, and prototyping, I craft experiences and products that wow and delight.

As a seasoned design professional, I am fueled by a passion for harnessing the power of design to drive meaningful impact. I am privileged to lead in a field that aligns with my values and expertise, and I am dedicated to crafting innovative solutions that transform lives.

My educational foundation in architectural design has informed my approach to problem-solving, while my early career experiences in graphic design, branding, and art direction have honed my creative vision. Over the past decade, I have established myself as a leader in user experience and digital strategy, driving teams and projects forward with a collaborative and visionary approach.

What I bring to the party 🎉 .

  • Presenting designs using storytelling techniques that connect the design to the user’s needs

  • Prototyping to validate the design as well as getting a strong alignment on interaction patterns

  • A deep understanding of data and tech stacks

  • Mentoring junior designers

  • Designing amazing experiences that eliminate barriers to completing tasks

  • Constant learning of new techniques, learning new software and designing for new hardware

In summary, I love solving problems and eliminating pain points to help people perform tasks more efficiently in their life and their work and I hope to make the world a better place along the way. 😊

My Design Journey

My design background crosses different disciplines from architecture to graphic design and branding to user experience and product design.

Master of Architecture at Texas A&M University Final Thesis

My thesis proved that you cannot design without constraints. I designed the spaces of a retail store without site or location context, as independent design solutions. Then I found a site in downtown Houston underneath a parking garage ramp at ground level and designed those same spaces into the site’s environment. I was the first master’s student in the history of the College of Architecture to completely design in 3D.

Early Design Career

I spent the first part of my design career as a graphic designer. I produced brand identities, publications, environmental graphics and magazines. This experience has helped me in my UX career by giving me the visual design experience I have been able to use as a UX designer.

Here’s what I’ve been up to recently.

My entire design journey has led to where I am right now. Architecture and graphic design experience led me to become a design powerhouse in the UX field and I am so grateful for this path I have been able to take.

I have been a user experience designer and design leader for the past 15 years and loving every minute of it.
